3. Counter-terrorism.
4. Securing border areas.
5. Securing national vital strategic objects.
6. Participating in U.N. peacekeeping operations in accordance with foreign policies.
7. Providing VVIP protection service for the nation’s President, Vice President and their families.
8. Empowering the nation’s territorial defense capabilities and territorial defense’s supporting elements according to Total Defense System.
9. Assisting local governments.
10. Assisting the National Police to provide public security and to enforce law and order as mandated by law.
11. Supporting security measures of Visiting foreign heads of state and visiting government officials in Indonesia.
12. Supporting the Government in disaster relief efforts, internal displaced people and humanitarian assistance.
13. Supporting search and rescue efforts.
14. Assisting the Government to provide safe passage of commercial flight and fleets against hijacking, piracy and smuggling.
